“OUTDOOR SHINE-UP AND CHOW DOWN”!! Aug 25 - Lynn Maki will lead us in a short reflection in the sanctuary to inspire us to see what we can do to make our place where we offer ministry, look a little spiffier and thus more welcoming. There will be some arduous tasks like cleaning the decks and weeding the boulevard and gardens. There will be some less demanding tasks such as picking up garbage and setting up a Water/Resting station. Finally, we will need some people for Lunch Preparation which will include ordering PIZZAS and picking up PIZZAS as well as setting up the “Make your own ice cream Sundae Station. Hopefully, everyone can find a way to offer their personal skills and abilities so that in no time at all the outside of the church will be shining and we can all share in a lunch of pizza and ice cream sundaes. You will need to bring outdoor chairs to sit in at lunch time, as well as tools to work with depending on what you volunteer to do. Gloves and garbage bags would also be helpful.
